Yorkville High School Choir
The annual Yorkville High School Prism concert will be hosted at Yorkville Middle School over the weekend, with hundreds of band and choir students entertaining packed crowds.
The performance of "Iza Ngonso" featuring Brett Axell is based on a text by Longfellow and set in Xhosa (one of the official languages of South Africa), this joyous movement from Grammy-winner Tin's CD, The Drop That Contained the Sea, was originally recorded with the Soweto Gospel Choir of South Africa.
